Wednesday 7.30pm TV3 & UTV
On the first day of Christmas Ty's true love gave to him… one birthday card, which angered Kirsty. On that Christmas theme, Corrie's favourite carol also involves two engagement rings; one hen party; "no calling birds!" (Tyrone), and a crazed fiancée on your TV.
The reason Ms Soames is more unhinged than usual is because one of Ruby's pram toys is found in the café, evidence that makes her realise Tyrone is lying to her – so she beats him senseless. Determined to get custody of his daughter, he lies to the doctor about his injuries, but admits to Fiz he doesn't know how he is going to make it through to the wedding.
Later, when Tina spots Ty and Fiz kissing, they fear their secret is out. Dobbs lies to his partner as he plans to celebrate the festive season with Fiz, but then struggles to hide his disappointment when he is forced to spend Christmas Day without her. Just when he thinks things can't get any worse, she falls unconscious at No 5. The reason: carbon monoxide poisoning caused by a dodgy boiler, which makes Tyrone think he could be to blame.
Meanwhile, Eva ensures Nick misses Simon's Nativity play, and later Tilsley causes a scene at the event by accusing Peter of making a hoax reservation at the Bistro. As the dust settles and Nick and Leanne prepare to marry for the second time, she is torn between Peter and her fiancé.
It looks like David's marriage is also on the rocks when Kylie thinks he's having a fling with Tina, so she has a one-night stand with another man. Guilt-ridden, she plans a new life for herself and Max – and David may not be a part of it, even if he does tell her how much he loves her.
Elsewhere, Carla is back in town and she smells a rat. Suspecting there's something not quite right in Rob's plan to buy Underworld, she thinks he's trying to rip her off.
