REGARDED as one of Ireland's hidden treasures, The Arigna Mining Experience in Co Roscommon is a wonderful family day out, especially during the festive season.
Come and visit Santa's Grotto this Christmas in a unique setting tucked away underground.
Kids can be entertained with a seasonal puppet show, a magician and balloon modelling. Face painters will be on hand to ensure each child gets a festive makeover — a popular request is a certain red-nosed reindeer!
Visitors make their way through the magically illuminated cave, to arrive at Santa's Grotto. Each group of children will meet with Santa and then receive their Christmas Gift.
Santa's Grotto is fully buggy and wheelchair accessible and is fully enclosed so is not weather dependent.
