THREE MEMBERS of Sligo Rovers League winning squad will not be returning for the 2013 season, it has been confirmed.

Strikers, Liam Buchanan and Mark McGoldrick, and midfielder, John Dillon, have departed the Showgrounds outfit.

Scottish forward, Buchanan, joined the Bit O'Red in August but failed to nail down a regular first team place, although he has the distinction of scoring Rovers last goal in the 2012 season in the 2-1 loss to Drogheda United at Hunky Dorys Park.

Liverpool native, Dillon, signed for Rovers in 2010 and won League Cup and FAI Cup medals with the Bit O'Red. He scored eleven goals last season, including a memorable winner against Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght, but he couldn't secure a regular starting place this term.

Local striker, McGoldrick, came through the club's youth academy system but spent most of the 2010 season on loan with Finn Harps and Athlone Town.
