The Republic of Ireland Schools team will be in action at Sligo Showgrounds on St. Patrick's Day when they take on Northern Ireland in the second round of the Centenary Shield. The Irish boys got their campaign off to a flying start with a 3-0 win over Wales last week.

Northern Ireland, meanwhile, drew 1-1 with Scotland in their first game so it will be all to play for at the Showgrounds.

Republic manager, Ollie Horgan, will be hoping his side can build on last week's victory.

"The win over Wales was a geat boost and we'll be looking to keep the momentum going in Sligo.

"We lost 1-0 to Northern Ireland last season so it would be nice to turn things around on this occasion." Next Monday's game has a 3pm kick off.
