Now it's all systems go for this year's scheme with a gala presentation banquet scheduled for the Radisson Hotel on November 15th.

The awards will be based on performances in the respective Championships and the widest possible selection process will be undertaken to draw up a list of nominees in both grades.

Nomination forms will be distributed to senior and intermediate clubs while readers of The Sligo Champion will also have an opportunity to submit nominations.

Nomination forms will be published in the Champion on October 1st, October 8th and October 15th. The closing date is October 18th.

The nominees for both the senior and intermediate teams will be published in the Champion on October 29th.

The intermediate All Stars team will be published exclusively in the Champion on November 5th. The senior All Stars team will remain a closely guarded secret until it is revealed at the gala banquet on November 15th

Player of the Year awards for both the senior and intermediate championships and a Hall of Fame award will also be presented at the Gala.
