Student march

PROTESTING Sligo college students will be on the march today, Tuesday.

A large gathering is expected to show up between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. outside the constituency office of Minister John Perry, in Old Market Street.

The students are furious over fee increases and cuts to their maintenance grants. Among the protestors will be students from St Angela's College Student's Union, IT Sligo and USI.

The protest is being organised as part of a series of student demonstrations ahead of Budget 2013.

There will, of course, be speeches.
