Sligo's Fleadh winners
AMONG the big winners at the All-Ireland Fleadh were competitors from Sligo.
Nearly all categories were represented by musicians from the North West, and success came the way of many.
Sligo took first place in the Irish Harp Slow Airs under 12 competition with Kate Gavin claiming the top prize.
It was a busy weekend for South Sligo's Conan Marren who took first place in the Whistle Slow Airs, 12-15 category, as well as second place in the 12-15 years Flute Slow Airs competition.
Síofra Ní Ainle from Paddy Killoran was able to see off all competition in the Irish Harp 12-15 competition, a fantastic achievement.
Established button accordionist, Daithí Gormley, received second place in the senior competition. It was also a successful weekend for Fred Finn's Niamh McGloin.
Niamh came first in the Irish Harp, 15-18 group, and second in the Irish Harp Slow Airs, 15-18.
The good fortunes continued for Fred Finn who got second spot in the 15-18 Grupaí Cheoil competition and third in the 15-18 Céilí Band compeition.
Knocknashee were also unlucky to be edged out by the Knockmore Céilí Band who used their experience to take top spot in the senior competition.
Here are just some of the successful Sligo participants at this year's Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann.
