BALLYMOTE BASED company Quickcrop has been selected as a finalist in the 16th annual National Enterprise Awards.
The awards are organised by the County and City Enterprise Boards.
Quickcrop-one of eight companies selected-was nominated by Sligo County Enterprise Board.
The company was set up in 2008 and specialises in providing a complete solution to those interested in growing their own vegetables at home.
John Reilly of Sligo County Enterprise Board said: "Our local finalist symbolises the strength, innovation and resilience within our county's small business community."
The awards ceremony takes place in Dublin's Mansion House on Wednesday, November 21st.
