Pub robbery

THE CASE of a father and son charged with burglary at a pub will be heard at Sligo District Court on Thursday.

Declan Hopkins of St. Muredoch's Terrace, Ballina and his son, also Declan of Mount Assumpta, Ballina are charged with burglary at Scott's pub, Kinard, Enniscrone on October 6th.

Mr. Gerard McGovern, solicitor (for Declan Hopkins junior) said he would be pleading guilty to the matter.

Solicitor for Declan Hopkins senior, Mr. John Gordan said his client was contesting the matter.

Both men were not in court but were remanded on continuing bail to Thursday's sitting of the court.
