A MAN found in possession of a knife in a pub just four months after receiving a suspended sentence for criminal damage, was further remanded on bail.
The case against Shaun Harte, Calry Court Apartments, Stephen Street was adjourned to February 7th after the court heard he was facing an assault charge on that date.
He had been summoned for possessing a knife at the Cavern Bar, Letterkenny, and with being intoxicated at Lower Main Street on June 16the last.
The case was transferred from Donegal after the judge there heard the defendant received a three-month suspended sentence from Judge Kevin Kilrane in February.
Judge Kilrane was shown a picture of the knife which he described as "a ferocious weapon."
Harte was remanded on bail to February 7th.
