Minister for Small Business John Perry was confronted about his bank loan deal at a public meeting in Dublin recently.
The Minister was speaking at an AIB sponsored event in the EU offices on Molesworth Street on Tuesday evening.
Jerry Beades, businessman and chairman of the newly reformed Land League, was at the event and questioned Mr Perry for several minutes about the deal he struck last September with Danske Bank.
The Junior Minister made a deal with the bank surrounding debts of €2.47 million.
After his speech to Network Ireland, a women's business group, Mr Perry was questioned about his deal with the bank.
He refused to answer Mr Beades, who said that he was invited to the event along with fellow Land League representatives.
Mr Beades accused the Minister of availing of a 'soft loan' package.
Gardaí were later called as the protestors were asked to leave.
