SALON 2, on Adelaide Street in Sligo, has again been recognised as one of Ireland's leading hair salons after scooping many of the top awards at the Irish Hairdressing Championships in Dublin.
Salon 2 won the top prize in the Bridal Category with Catherine Gormley's classic bridal upstyle wowing the judges and gaining her 1st place in Ireland. Katie Codd followed closely with her sophisticated upstyle that came 4th in the same Bridal Category.
Lynnette Moran was next to scoop another 1st, this time in the Gents Full Fashion Category. It was Lynnette's first time to compete at national level and her on-trend gents' hairstyle gained her top marks and another 1st in Ireland for Salon 2.
Arron Mcdonagh was placed 4th in the Junior Upstyling category. It was Arron's first foray in the competitive hairstyling arena.
Anthony Kilcoyne, proprietor of Salon 2, then netted a 3rd place in the Ladies Full Fashion Category with his very creative, futuristic hairstyle and colour, which won great acclaim with both judges and the audience.
Said Anthony: "I am absolutely over the moon with all the Salon 2 wins. The tension and excitement on the day was unbelievable. This is so exciting for the salon and customers alike and is a testament to the skill and professionalism in Salon 2."
