A MAN who broke a pub window in Ballymote was fined €200 at Sligo Court.
Aiden Mahon, Camross, Ballymote, was charged with committing criminal damage on September 18th last at Kielty's Pub, O'Connell Street, Ballymote.
A charge of being drunk on the occasion was "taken into consideration."
The court heard the window cost €2,000.
Mahon told the court he had paid €930 compensation as agreed with the publican.
The court also heard he had 24 previous convictions.
Defending solicitor Mr. Gerard McGovern said: "He is not drinking at present and I hope for his own sake he will stay away from it.
