TUBBERCURRY -- all the news
TOOL & GAUGE REUNION -- A small group of former employees of the Tool and Gauge Company Ltd Tubbercurry met recently to plan a reunion in 2013.

The committee appointed at the meeting have chosen the week-end of August 30th. 31st and 1st Sept. for the reunion. One of their first tasks is to try and contact as many as possible of the former employees.

December has been a celebratory month for our local Active Retirement Association following the successful launch of The Way That It Was III. The book has received very favourable comments and is being enjoyed by its readers. It is proving to be an ideal gift to send to our emigrants from the locality and is widely on sale in all the local outlets, in Aclare, Cloonacool, Achonry, Charlestown etc and in Liber Bookshop, Sligo. Members and friends had a most enjoyable Christmas Dinner in Killoran's Restaurant on Tuesday night last.. Christmas reading for our Book Club will be The Forgotten Waltz by Anne Enright.
We would like to wish our members and friends a very happy and peaceful Christmas.
