Many thanks to everyone who contributed and participated in the lovely evening last Sat in Calry Hall.
Eilish McGowan exhibited photographs of Calry from the last 100 years, and we were trying to identify some of the people and events portrayed in the photos. The musicians, dancers and performers proved that music,d ancing and telling a good story are still important in Calry. This event is part of a series of community explorations which will culminate in an Arts Archive Dvd telling the story of Drama and Music in the community of Calry.
We welcome everyone to come to a Trad Night in Hargadon's Bar in Calry on Saturday 8th December for another enjoyable night.
The Photography Course run by Connecting Calry concludes with an exhibition in The Clarion Hotel on Thursday 15th December at 8pm, and the Launch of our beautiful Connecting Calry 2013 Calendar. A competition produced, yet again, fantastic photos of our community which will be enjoyed both in Calry and in homes across the world in 2013. Congratulations to all who entered the competition and made it a very real community collaboration. The Calendar will be available at the launch.
