Hundreds turn up in support of annual 5k race
More than 300 athletes took to the roads of Tubbercurry for its popular annual 5km race in aid of SHOUT.
This year organisers were thrilled with the number of participants which had doubled on last year's figure. There were runners, walkers and people in festive costumes for the event, which raises money for the essential services that SHOUT provides. The first male to cross the finish line was Tristan McCarrick Druet, while the first female title went to Mari Carty. Aidan Durcan and Maeve Gallagher were first in the Junior categories, with organisers thanking everyone for their support.
