Cranmore's Christmas lights are switched on

Christmas at Cranmore began with the blessing by Fr. Dominick Gillooly of the festive tree, and the switching on of the lights by Sligo Rovers player, Raffaele Cretaro.

The Cranmore Co-Op, Resource House, Abbeyquarter Community Centre and the Cranmore Regeneration Office came to together host the celebration. Sligo Club Rovers Promotions Officer, Keith O'Dwyer, and goalkeeper, Ciaran Kelly joined Cretaro for the event and brought the Airtricity Premier League trophy. Santa arrived via Fire engine and greeted the children in the Abbeyquarter Community Centre after the switch-on.
