Castleconnor GAA Lotto, Numbers drawn on 17th November for ?4,800 were10, 12, 25 and 30. No winner of the jackpot or match 3's. Lucky dip winners were Mona O'Regan, Paul Healy, Michael Crean, John Joe Naughton and Kathleen Clarke. Next draw in Muddy Burns on 1st December.


Cllr Joe Queenan welcomes the funding for verge improvements on the N59 at Corballa. The work consists of removal of grass verge and the provision of hard core. This work will greatly improve car park and safety of pedestrians at the Castleconnor Church. Funding has been provided by NRA AND Sligo County Council.


Castleconnor Drama Group will stage their Christmas Pantomime on Friday 7th Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th December.


This will take place on Sunday 16th December at 12 noon in the Casleoconnor Community Centre. The Children's Party will be held immediately afterwards and Santa will be in attendance to give him his list.


Castleconnor Foróige Club has started up again. We have been assigned an excellent new room in the new extension to the Community centre. It has just been painted and decorated by the Foróige club. We meet weekly, every Friday night , from 8:30 until 9:30. Last weekend we attended a disco organised by Ballisodare Foróige club. Currently our members are actively involved in the parish pantomine production called Robin O Hood that will take place on 7th, 8th and 9th December at the Community Center. New members are very welcome.
