Sligo East City: Cranmore and Environs Regeneration Masterplan Community Consultation.
Do you want to have an input into changes in your community? What's YOUR vision for Regeneration? Come to a public consultation for residents in your area and get your voice heard. The Sligo Regeneration Masterplan is a long term plan for the future of Sligo East City and surrounds. The planning process starts in early 2013 and will put together an area plan for this part of Sligo.
A series of independent local public community meetings are currently taking place, providing a chance for YOU to have an input into the Regeneration Masterplan for YOUR community.
It's an independent, informal meeting for residents in the area. There'll be a chance to talk in small groups about what you like about your area and what changes you think would make it a better place to live.
Meetings for Garavogue Villas, Martin Savage Terrace and Doorly Park will take place during week beginning 26th November. Full details will be posted into each residents house.
Dates are as follows: Monday 26th November: Doorly Park. Venue: Meeting Room St Annes Church; Tuesday 27th November: Garavogue Villas. Venue: Meeting room, Sligo Fire Station; Thursday 29th November: Martin Savage Terrace. Venue: Meeting Room, Irish Wheelchair Association, AbbeyvilleAll events take place from 7.00pm - 8.30pm

Cranmore Co-op is holding their Annual General Meeting on Thursday 6th December at 8.00pm in the Resource House in Racecourse View. Nominations will be taken for Chairperson, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary, those put forward for nomination would be required to have been an active Co-op member for a period of twelve months. This is in accordance with company guidelines as Cranmore Co-operative is not just a committee but also operate as a company.
Cranmore Co-op in association with Sligo Sports & Recreation Partnership will be offering Rebounding classes. Classes will take place from 7pm and 8pm - Venue- Abbeyquarter Centre every Monday night. Cost €2 per class. According to demand classes can be arranged to suit the group. Qualified instructors will be on hand to take the classes. Come along and lose a few pounds in time to fit into your party dress at Christmas. The classes will be on-going in the New Year starting after the Christmas break on Monday the 7th January.
