Opportunity to learn spinning at Markree

As Heritage Week is in full swing, why not learn a new craft?
It could even become a money-making business for you.
There are wool craft demonstrations taking place this week at Markree Castle.
Here, you will be taught how to transform sheep's wool into some fashionable attire.
Markree Wool Craft has been producing their own speciality yarns for some time, which are suitable for knitting, crochet, spinning and felting.
The wool itself comes from the rare Wensleydale sheep which reside at Markree.
Hour long demonstrations will be held from Tuesday until Thursday at 12pm.
There is a castle tour, led by Charles Cooper, taking place today, Tuesday at 10am.
Booking is available on 071 9167800.
