the new Peugeot 208 can deliver 74 mpg and sub-100 g of CO2 emissions.

THE NEW and economical Peugeot 208, recently announed as Continental Irish Small Car of the Year 2012, takes pride of place as segment leader for low CO2 emissions, ahead of its many rivals.

The only model in the small car B1 segment out of a total of 29 models to deliver both petrol and diesel models at sub-100g of CO2, the new 208 offers up to 3.8 litres / 100km (74MPG) and emissions as low as 87g/CO2.

Des Cannon, Peugeot Sales & Marketing Director said, said that with VRT and road tax linked to emissions, the new 208 is uniquely placed to incur minimal increases announced in Budget 2013

The new 208, destined to become a star-seller for Peugeot like its predecessor 206 and 207 models, is now available to order at Peugeot dealerships nationwide.

Retailing from €14,495 plus delivery related charges, standard equipment across the range for Ireland includes a full size spare wheel, ESP and cruise control + speed limiter.
