Ballisodare teenage band ‘Lost and Found’ are performing a special matinee for local schools

Ballisodare Teenagers Music Club are hosting a special matinee of their Gala Concert for local schools this month.

The Foróige Lost and Found Music Club will hold their 3rd annual Teen Gala Concert on 27 April at 7.30pm in Ballisodare and this year they are adding an extra matinee for the 1st, 2nd and transition year students of five local schools. This matinee will be on the same day at 2pm and is being organised directly with the schools.

Founded in 2013 the music club performs a mix of pop, soul, rap, folk and rock songs with the occasional oldie thrown in. They pick all the material themselves and create their own arrangements. They also play the instruments for the concert so that no backing tracks are used. People are urged to contact music teachers or year heads about arrangements for the matinee.

The proceeds from the concerts are split equally between the club and Kenya Build charity. Any queries can be made to elcorhownagh@gmail.com
