KELLY Mongan, mentored by Kian Egan, was runner up in The Voice of Ireland final.
Kian had two acts in the final - Shane McLaughlin (28) from Letterkenny was third.
However, despite being one of the show's favourites, Kelly was defeated by Keith Hanley, from Cork.
Kian updated fans on Twitter during the show.
He said: "So proud of Kelly, she is an amazing woman.
"If ever a girl deserved to win, it has to be her."
He also made reference to heavily pregnant Kelly (19), being overdue.
"Kelly is still standing strong five days overdue.
"Let's hope she makes it to six days over!"
She was joined by Una Healy from The Saturdays for a duet.
Steve Wall of The Stunning performed 'Brewing up a Storm' with Shane.
Childcare student Keith (19), mentored by Jamelia, receives a recording contract. He performed hit song 'Jigsaw' with Ryan Sherdian.
Bressie's act Shannon Murphy came fourth.
