BRAY WANDERERS will be visiting Ferrycarrig Park for a pre-season friendly on Friday, February 24, at 8 p.m.

This comes hot on the heels of the recent clash with Bohemians which Wexford Youths lost 2-1. Manager Shane Keegan has named his squad for the league campaign and this game will be the last big test before their local derby opener at home to Waterford United on Friday, March 2.

Before that, Wexford Youths will travel to Dublin to play Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium on Saturday next at 5 p.m.

It was a busy weekend for the Youths. Friday saw the squad avail of the gym and swimming pool at Club Vitae, Maldron Hotel, Wexford. The Maldron is sponsoring the Senior League of Ireland team during 2012 by providing free access to the gym and pool to the entire squad.

Having played Shelbourne on the preceding night in Dublin in the fourth round of the Leinster Senior Cup, the players used the session for a well-organised recovery.

On Sunday the Senior League of Ireland squad, together with manager Shane Keegan, ran the Slaney Olympicorganised Enniscorthy 10k road race. The team ran as part of their pre-season training and also to raise money for the club and their chosen charity for 2012, the St. Vincent De Paul Society, Respectable times were run by all, with Deano Broaders finishing first for the squad and manager Shane Keegan showing the lads how to do it by coming home second.

Season tickets are now on sale. Call Ann Jordan (0872926465) or visit the club website - www.wexfordyouthsfc.ie - where application forms can be downloaded or tickets purchased online.
