Gorey within a whisker of safety

GOREY RANGERS twice came from behind on Sunday to fire themselves to within a whisker of Premier Division safety.
Willie Lambert gave Wexford Bohs the lead in the Showgrounds only for Emmett Gregan to level it.
Declan Downes then nudged his side back ahead and Bohs looked set to close the gap on secondplaced North End United until the hosts were awarded a last-minute penalty that Joe Bolger converted to earn his side a share of the spoils.
A point from either of their remaining two fixtures will now see them secure their Premier Division status for the 2012-'13 season.
Ferns United look equally certain of staying up. They earned a 2-1 win over Courtown Hibs thanks to strikes from Eugene Breen and Tomás Hawkins. A draw from their final outing would guarantee them top-flight football next term.
Bunclody, currently sitting in the play-off spot, and Adamstown and Forth Celtic, the occupants of the relegation spots, are the sides looking to catch Rangers and United.
