Harvest Festival takes place in Adamstown

ALL ROADS lead to Adamstown this Sunday for the 13th annual Adamstown Harvest and Vintage Festival.
All ploughing competitors are asked to be on site for registration at 11:30 am with ploughing commencing at noon. Competitors are welcome in all the various ploughing classes.
Vintage enthusiasts wishing to display their cars, tractors and bikes are also welcome.
An exhibition of a working farm day, including cutting the corn and saving the harvest, will be held by members of the Shamrock Vintage Club.
Old time threshing will then take place and there will be lots of activities for everyone to enjoy, including games, Irish dancing, athletics, a dog show (various classes), a bouncy castle etc.
There is no admission charge to the event but visitors are asked to be as generous as possible.
