THE music crazy Cloke/Sludds family was thrown into the spotlight as concerns about the Garth Brooks concerts in Croke Park surfaced last week.
The passion of 10-year-old Cameron Cloke for the American singer was already well known since he became a star on You Tube thanks to a home video showing him with tickets for the Sunday night gig was posted.
Photographers from the national press came knocking on the door after reports that all the performances were in doubt and the pupil of St. Aidan's primary school told reporters of his disappointment at the news.
Then parents Mick and Donna Marie were recruited by TV AM to speak on the subject during the station's breakfast programme, the pair driving up specially to the studio in Dublin's Ballymount to take part.
Donna Marie revealed that the family not only holds three tickets for the Sunday show but that she and her husband were hoping to go back the following day to enjoy an encore.
'I would go all five nights if I had the money,' confessed Cameron's mother. 'The whole family is mad about country music.'
