This will be a practical talk on keeping your online accounts and passwords safe, protecting your wifi network and about how to protect your home computer, laptop and other devices using anti-virus software, firewalls, and secure passwords.
In February and March there will be further information talks on 'Getting Smart With Your Smart Phone' for those of us not making full use of our smart phone's capabilities, and on 'Using Free Technology To Keep In Touch With Family And Friends' for those who want to learn to use Skype and similar technology to banish the miles between them and their loved ones.
Dates for the final two lectures are not yet confirmed and will be announced shortly. Alternatively phone the library at 051 421877 and ask to be added to their mailing list.
