Fergal McWilliams, Thomas Cummins and Andrew Corish have qualified for the semi-finals in their county respective leagues. The league section of the club's doubles league is near completion and all games must be played by Friday November 30th.

Fixtures: Thursday November 22nd, 7pm D. Whelan/ O Cummins v F and D McWilliams, 7.50pm T Cummins/ R Ryan v P Cheevers/P Somers. 8.40pm B McWilliams/ P Hunt v A Corish/ R Hart.


Dancing returns to Ballykelly Hall on Friday December 14th.


Horeswood GAA club will hold it's AGM on Friday November 30th at 8pm. Any nominations for committee members and motions must be returned to Sec. Stephen O'Connor by Wednesday November 21st.


Joannes fitness 4 women is continuing in campile on Wednesday and Friday evenings at 7.30pm and will continue each week. After a lapse of a number of years Horeswood have entered a team in the Jim Byrne Cup which will commence on Sunday December 1st. This is a competition which Horeswood dominated in the late 80s and 90s winning in 1988, '89, '93, '95 and '96. The much coveted prize then was a weekend in London. A weekend holiday is still the prize and with all bar 3 of the team which beat Clonard in the Minor final still eligible there should be a strong team. The competition is 13 a side with 3 games guaranteed in the group stage.


Results: U12 Girls Campile Utd B 6 - Camolin 0. The girls put in a great performance. Everyone played really well especially the defenders who didn't let a thing past them. Scorers on the day were Caitlin Barron and Heather Walsh with 2 each and Elena Kenny and Jade Cleere adding one each.

The Soccer Academy will be taking place in the indoor complex in the GAA pitch on saturday from 10-11am.
