The recent An Taisce , Wexford County Council , Blackwater Tidy Towns litter lift was a great success. Thank you to volunteers from all areas of the parish who helped collect one skip plus forty sacks of rubbish from the roadsides. It was great to see so many people come to the Bridge in Blacktwater on the day. Thank you also to those who worked on their local roads lifting litter in their own time. A special thank you to drivers with cars, trailers and lorry who transported the full sacks from the various areas to the village.
The Annual Galbally Tractor and Vintage Run will take place on Sunday 26th May, commencing with registration at 11.30 am in Galbally and the run commences at 1 pm. Refreshments will be served in the Community Centre. All proceeds in aid of the Galbally Restoration Fund. All support would be greatly appreciated.
