Branding expo at Wexford Campus

SOLVING problems outside the box, that's what the 3rd year BA in Visual Communications students from the Wexford Campus of IT Carlow did for community groups in Wexford.

Students designed innovative, eye catching branding campaigns for community organisation such as The Wexford Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Cornmarket Project, Youth Train, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, among many others.

Niall Reck from Graphedia, an award-winning Wexford Graphic Design company, officially opened the exhibition and congratulated the students on the standard of their work.

He went on to say that these students were highly skilled in a wide variety of disciplines, from the traditional skills of drawing, painting and photography to the multi-media realms of video, sound, animation and moving image.

These skills will enhance the Wexford Campus students employability not only locally but nationally and world wide.
