KERRY out classed Tipperary in this second round game in the Minor C/ship in Ballymac last Saturday another display of firepower in the opening minutes as they had two goals from Claire O'sullivan and Maria Quirke.

Claire O'sullivan, Ann Galvin and Maria Quirke lorded the half forward roles as the dominated the Tipp half-back line and the constant supply to Kerry's fullforwards saw this game over as a contest at the end of the first quarter as Kerry led 2-6 to no score.
Anna Galvin and Megan O'connell worked well together as a combine contribution of 1-9 from play as Kerry extended their lead by a further goal from Rachael O'sullivan and points from Leeann Mangan, O'connell and Quirke to lead 3-13 to 0-0 at the end of the short whistle.
At the restart Maria Quirke and Claire O'sullivan had three points form play until Tipperary's Sinead Kennedy scored their first of the day, followed by Amy Pollard who raised the green flag and a further point from Kennedy, which was Tipp's total for the day as Kerry tapped over five more and a another goal from Claire O'sullivan just before the full-time whistle.
Kerry's next encounter will be the Munster Minor final on Saturday, May 5 against Cork. Kerry did empty the bench as Amy Fitzgerald, Sarah Kelly, Rachel O'sullivan, Olivia Quilter and Erin O'driscoll all came on as replacements and as a whole Kerry learned very little from this encounter.

AXA INSURANCE SFL DIVISION 2 SEMI-FINAL
Austin Stacks 5-4 Abbeydorney 4-5
THE Stacks booked a Division 2 final appearance against their town rivals Kerins O'rahillys as Stacks had just two to spare over Abbeydorney in a windy wet Abbeydorney on Sunday last as the Connolly Park venue was deemed unplayable a half an hour before the original throw in and the venue switched to O'dorney.
Stacks lead 3-3 to 1-4 at half time and it was O'dorney who used the strong wind to their advantage as a goal from Catherine Sexton gave O'dorney a one point lead and they held it well until they conceded a penalty in the closing minutes and Stacks converted and held on to the twipoint advantage and from the second semi-finals Kerins O'rahillys who overcame Firies 6-11 to 2-10.
In the Shield semi finals Scartaglin had too much firepower for home side Kilcummin and Duagh travelled to Rathbeg and earned a Shield final spot on a scoreline of 2-11 to 2-3.
In the division 4 semi-finals both Chorca Dhuibhne and Spa came through and will face off in the Division 4 decider, which will go ahead on the May Bank Holiday weekend.
The Plate Final will see Legion and Clounmacon do battle for the honours, this will go ahead next Saturday in a Tralee venue TBC for a 5.45 throw in and also the Division 4 Development Cup Final as Currow and Dingle will contest this one, with the venue TBC.
The fourth and last final of next weekend will see a North Kerry derby as Listowel Emmets B and Causeway clash in the Divisionision 4 Shield Final. Venues for all game will be confirmed to all Clubs during Mid week.
U12 Glebe Kitchens County League (Phase 1)
THE second round of the league continued on Friday last and in the North Kerry divisionision 2, there were wins for Abbeydorney and Austin Stacks over Ballymac.
North Kerry Division 3 had wins for Ballyduff and Currow.
Then in the South Kerry Division 1 there were wins for Rathmore and Kilcummin.
In our last division, the South Kerry Division 2, wins for Laune Rangers B, Legion, Glenflesk and Scartaglin.
