CONGRATULATIONS to Dr Crokes who are in the AIB Munster Club Final following their win on Sunday last in Lewis Road.
The Munster Club Champions defeated Clonmel Commercials 1-14 to 0-6 in poor weather conditions. However, the dark weather did not deter the venue organisers and as usual the pitch and organisation on the day was superb and credit to Vince Casey and everyone from Dr Crokes. The county and club champions will play the Munster club final in Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on Sunday, December 2 at 2pm when their opposition is Castlehaven from Cork. U- 17 Interdivisional ALL round 2 games have been played in the Domoino Pizza Tralee and Killarney U17 Inter Divisional . The final game in Round 2 saw East Kerry defeat Eoghan Rua on Sunday on a score line of 3-05 to 2-05. The Final Round game schedule will be known later this week. County Convention ON December 3 the County Committee meeting that deals with fixtures and competition takes place.

The Convention will take place in the Ballyroe Hotel, Tralee on Monday December 10 at 7.30pm. Ballot papers have been sent out since Monday 19th November. Counting of votes will take place at Convention. Depopulation committee THE Kerry Rural Depopulation Committee have held three Information nights on employment and enterprise for GAA clubs in Kerry.
The fourth and final information night is fixed for Thursday, November 22 in Austin Stack Park at 7.30pm. This is a very important meeting for the clubs from Tralee, St Brendan's and West Kerry Districts.
The North and East Kerry Development Partnership will be in attendance on the night where they will give a presentation and information on jobs available in Kerry.
All club officers, players, coaches and team managers are invited to attend
this meeting. Scór na nÓg BOTH Semi-finals of Coiste Scór Na nÓg Chiarraí will take place at two different venues over this weekend with the running order for both nights is as follows: Saturday November 24 Glenbeigh Community Centre will stage the semi final for South of Kerry commencing at 5pm and will include the Districts Boards of; South Kerry, Mid Kerry, East Kerry and Kenmare District Board. Sunday November 25 Abbeydorney Community Centre when we see representing North of the County Castleisland District Board, North Kerry Hurling, Tralee/St. Brendans, North Kerry Football and West Kerry.
Two from each discipline on the night will qualify for the County Finals which will be staged at the Tintean Theatre Ballybunion on Sunday, December 9 with a starting time of 2pm. Insurance A DECISION of the Ard Chomhairle recently made it compulsory for all players to obtain insurance cover from the GAA before a sanction to the USA or Canada can be granted.
This insurance cover costs €40 and sanctions will no longer be processed unless this insurance has been purchased, and receipt of purchase is submitted with a sanction application.
