KILLORGLIN-based financial services firm Fexco have expanded their global business into Brazil with the opening of a new office in Sao Paulo during President Michael D Higgins' recent state visit to South America.
Junior Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Joe Costello opened what is Fexco's 11th global location in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on the second day of the trade mission last month.
As well as its Kerry base, FEXCO also has operations in China, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, UAE, France, Japan, USA, and UK.
The new FEXCO Brazil office will oversee the company's expansion into Brazil and the wider Latin American market.
Brazil is ranked as third most popular destination in Latin America after Mexico and Argentina, which Fexco say will provide significant opportunities for the company's world leading currency conversion products.
"Fexco is investing in this region to capitalise on the opportunities the region presents.
"This new regional office will serve as a platform for further expansion of Fexco's presence across Latin America," said Fexco Global Head of Currency Conversion Denis Geary.
