A GOAL in each half was enough for the home side to advance to next round; Paudie Clifford covered a lot of ground to get to a cross to put Celtic one up in 31st minute. Celtic added a second 11 minutes into second when Liam Carey scored from close range. Both keepers played well, making some fine saves. Killarney Celtic play at home in next round to Newcastlewest or Broadford

FAI UMBRO YOUTHS CUP St Brendan's Park 4 Adare United 2 THE Park travelled to play Adare United from the Desmond League and came away with a great victory.

It was a one man show by the Tralee side with Jesse O'Sullivan scoring all their four goals for a remarkable personal achievement. He lined out with The Park B team on Sunday and scored another goal in his senior debut. Newcastle West 4 Listowel Celtic 2 LISTOWEL Celtic travelled to West Leimerick and put up a great fight against a very strong Desmond League side. In a full blooded contest they gave a very good account of themselves and their goalscorers were Ian Murphy and Joe Coulson.

KILLARNEY Celtic advanced to the next round without kicking a ball as their opponents Broadford United from the Desmond Leagie failed to fulfill the fixture.
