This north Kerry derby could go into the Kerry District League history books as the first goal by Asdee was scored after three seconds by Tom Pierse who went on to complete a hat trick before half time. When the ball was tipped off to him he fired a shot from midfield and it went all the way to the net.

A Billy Finucane goal early in the second half put Asdee in the driving seat. However, the home side finished strongly and they got one back when Donald Bennet scored from the penalty spot and he scored again from a corner kick in the 90th minute.

They had another great chance in the 93rd minute when they were awarded another penalty but Ian Blake could not convert it.

Asdee now go on top meet the winners of Cedar Galaxy v Tralee Dynamos B in the semi-final.

Na Fianna 3

These two sides met in last years Tommy Healy Cup Final where Na Fianna emerged victorious and they were the victors again on Sunday by a comfortable three-goal margin on this occasion.

Na Fianna got off to a blistering start with two goals in the opening five minutes of the game from Ben Landy and Barrack Osas Menlegel. They ensured victory in the second half with a cracker of a goal from outside the box by Ben Landy.

Best for Na Fianna were Ben Landy, Tom Perryman, Kevin Murphy and Chris Lyons.
