THE big result of the weekend was the win by Listowel Celtic over Kingdom Boys in this division. It certainly wasn't a surprise as there was only a point between them at the top of the table at the start of play. However, two goals from Cillian Spillane means that Listowel Celtic now top the by two points and have a game in hand over the Tralee saide.
The Park are a few points behind but kept up their pursuit of the top two with a 4-1 win over Killarney Celtic A. Mike Slattery hit two with Adam Ward and Padraig McCannon getting one each.
PARK B and Camp played out a one all draw on Wednesday night with Shane McCarthy getting the goal for Park B. The Park B were in action again on Saturday but couldn't repeat the mid- week result and went down to unbeaten Castleisland. Mark Ryan, Merlinda Xhemali and Shane McCarthy did get goals for The Park but it wasn't enough. Ben Cooney with four and Adam O'Donoghue led the scoring with Shay Walsh also getting in on the scoring act.
Mastergeeha remain in second place as they were also winners. They got the better of Killarney Celtic C in a high scoring encounter. Niall O'Connor, Paul O'Shea and Cormac O'Connor all hit two with Conor O'Leary, Daniel Dennehy and Dylan Murphy netting one each for Mastergeeha while the Celtic goals came from Conor Staunton 2 and Alex Grestiak.
