KILLARNEY Athletic kept their hopes of finishing second alive after they took the three points from their must win game at Mastergeeha.

Third placed Athletic are now on 18 points with three games left as they chase Mastergeeha (on 24 points) for the runners up spot behind Castleisland. Reece Hegarty and Finbarr Hickey both scored two with Liam Curran getting the other in a 5-1 win.

Killarney Celtic B rounded off their League with an exciting 3-2 win over Park B. Alan Murphy, Evan Jones (pen), and Oisin Bulger got Celtic's goals, but also had keeper Kian O'Shea to thank as he was in great form denying the Park on numerous occasions.

David Couchman and Robin McCarthy did manage to beat him but it wasn't enough.

Jack Farrell had a great day scoring all four goals in their 4-0 win at home to Killarney Celtic C.
