Kingdom Boys join Killarney Celtic in the third round of U-13 National Cup

Under 13 KINGDOM Boys join The Park and Killarney Celtic in Round 3 of the National Cup thanks to their 5-2 win at home to Corbally.

NATIONAL CUP

Kevin Williams scored twice while Dylan Robinson, Sean Foley and Dan Goggin all got one each. Kingdom Boys reward is a home tie in the next round against Kilcornan. In Round 2 there was no luck for Killarney Athletic who went out to Aisling Annacotty. Under 15 THE Under 15 National Cup is proving a fertile ground Kerry sides with four teams into Round 3. Last weekend there was wins for St Brendan's Park who defeated Birdhill 4-0 thanks to goals from Kieran Carmody, Jessie Stafford Lacey, Dylan McCarthy and Ferdia O'Brien. Kingdom Boys won away to Ballymackey 6-3 with Seguin Doyile hitting a hat- trick. Cathal Kennelly got two and Owen Gunn scored the other.

In the all Kerry clash it was Killarney Athletic who progressed, beating Mastergeeha 2-4 in Kilbrean Park. Paul O'Connor and David Gleeson were the scores for the home side but goals from Padraig O'Brein 2, Aaron Foley and David Shaw were enough for Athletic to progress. These three sides join Killarney Celtic in Round 3.
