Killarney Athletic impress

PREMIER IN the Under 12 Premier Killarney Athletic will be the happiest of the team in action this weekend.

They took a great point off leaders Killorglin after a one all draw. Tadgh Doolin got the Athletic goal late on in the game after Martin Foley had put Killorglin ahead. Killorglin still top the table on 19 points from eight played.

Killarney Celtic moved onto 15 points with two games in hand after their 5-0 win at home to Listowel Celtic. Ryan Kelliher continued his scoring streak netting a hat-trick with the other coming from Mike Lenihan and Peter O'Sullivan.

Mastergeeha closed to within one point of the top of the table after they defeated Ballyhar 2-1. Lorcan Keane got both the goals for the home side at Kilbrean Park, while Aaron Flynn was on the mark for Ballyhar.

Division 2 IN Division 2 Killorglin B's hopes of a top two finish suffered a set-back as they went down 2-1 away to Asdee. Pat Carmody and Eric Daly were the scorers for the home side.
