LB midfielder Eoin O'Mahony was the man that established the LB club and he said after the game that this win was very special.
"When we started out two years ago as Lisselton Rovers and finished well down the Division table at the end of the season. This season we changed the name of the club and brought in some players from the Ballybunion area and hence the name LB. We lost our opening game of the season 5-2 to Listowel Celtic, but we got our act together after this and performed very consistently for the rest of the season.
"We were teak tough today at the back very creative at midfield while up front Moussirine Ouro has been the best striker in Kerry for the past decade and he showed just how good he is again here today. This win gives us all a great sense of achievement and community spirit and the reward players deserve after giving such commitment during the long season."
