The manager of the Dynamos side, Eddie Foster said he was very pleased with the team performance.

"We knew going into the game that is was going to be a tough game as Shanakill are a good side that keep going till the final whistle. After scoring an early goal Shanakill threw the game open again scoring just before half-time.However the lads kept plugging away and got the scores when they were required. We have a good few seasoned players who have been through it all before and that stood to the team on the day," said Foster.

Foster singled out a number of players for their individual contributions.

"Jonathan Hannifan made a big difference when he came on and the more experienced players led by example. Eoin Cassidy comes down from Dublin every week to play and that shows a great level of commitment. It is great to win a league and cup double but getting back to Premier A will be our main priority next season," said Foster.
