Dingle Bay and Park's Cup game falls victim to weather

THE elemets was the winner in this clash in West Kerry as due to water on pitch and high winds the referee Stuart Templeman abandoned the game after 53 minutes. At the time Dingle were leading 2-1 but now the sides will have to do it all again.

THIS was a game that aroused a lot of interest and it lived up to its billing providing a very entertaining encounter in difficult playing conditions. A brace of goals from James Wall and another from Danny Roche was enough to see the Tralee side progress to the next round of the competition. Timmy O'Sullivan scored for Athletic and this was their first defeat of the new season.
