The Kenmare/rathmore/ Gneeveguilla game concluded in a 2-2 draw even after extratime and the dreaded penalty shootout took a long time to determine the winners with Kenmare eventually winning 11-10 in a dramatic twist.
The Spa/muckross versus Killorglin game was equally tension strewn with this game finishing 3-3 after extra-time. The penalty shootout did finish a bit quicker with 10 shots and Spa/muckross winning 4-3 to play Kenmare in the final.
The third/fourth play-off saw some excellent soccer with a physically stronger Rathmore/ Gneeveguilla team beating a valiant Killorglin team 3-1.
