THREE more cups will have their 2012/13 homes decided this weekend.
Cup Final Previews
On Saturday at Celtic Park, Killarney, it's the Tom Murphy Under 12 Cup final between Killarney Athletic and Killorglin, which will be followed by the Under 14 Girls final featuring Killarney Celtic and Listowel Celtic.
The John Murphy Under 12 Cup final sees Killorglin facing Killarney Athletic with the former probably going in as favourites. Killorglin only missed out on a play-off for top spot in the Premier by one point and defeated three top sides to reach the final in Park A, Killarney Celtic A and Inter Kenmare. While Killarney Athletic struggled a little in the League they have enjoyed a great Cup run knocking out Camp, Listowel Celtic and Kingdom Boys. Kick off in Celtic Park is 12 noon.
The Under 14 Girls is the second final at Celtic Park on Saturday and sees the two Celtic's meet each other. The visitors Listowel Celtic go into the game unbeaten, at the time of going to press as they are due to play midweek, while Killarney Celtic are in second place. In the run to the final Listowel Celtic knocked out Kingdom Girls and Killarney Celtic B, while Killarney Celtic knocked out their neighbours Killarney Athletic. Both sides go into this game high on confidence having both won their first round National Cup games. Kick-off is at 1.45pm
Prediction: Listowel Celtic
The Tucker Kelly Cup Under 16 final has the unique pairing of The Park A v Park B. With the Park A unbeaten since the Premier split and now topping the division with five wins they are odds on favourites. Their B team club-mates got a Bye in round 1, knocked out Fenit in round 2 and Killarney Celtic B to reach the final. The As put paid to the chances of Castleisland, Camp and Killarney Athletic. The game is being played as the centre piece of the St Brendan's Park family day and kicks off at Christy Leahy Park at 3.30pm.
Prediction: Park A.
