This year Kerry's main cycling clubs are coming together to promote cycling among the youth.
The initiative will take the form of monthly youth development days hosted by individual cycling clubs at various locations through the county. The first of these days will be hosted by Killarney Cycling Club on Saturday, February 2, at the An Óige youth hostel in Fossa and will cater for boys and girls of all abilities from 12 to 18 years of age. Registration will take place at 9am at Fossa youth hostel (cost €5). Intending participants should present themselves with a suitable road bike in godd condition and all must wear a well-fitted helmet.
