Bus service a boost to coursing enthusiasts

IN an initiative that is sure to be welcomed by coursing enthusiasts over a wide area, it is intended to operate a bus service to the national coursing meeting on February 2, 3 and 4 – and, wait for it, the return fare per day will be just €10!
There will be three different services, one starting in Tralee and picking up passengers in Castleisland, Abbeyfeale, Newcastlewest, Rathkeale and Patrickswell. The other services to Clonmel will operate from Galway and Dundalk, with appropriate stops en route. Needless to say, sufficient interest must be shown for the service to be implemented, but it will be a big surprise if the required numbers are not forthcoming. The man to contact is Eugene at the Sporting Press (e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org) before Friday, January 11.
The bus each day will leave Clonmel one hour after the last course.
