THE Munster ladies, mens and mixed doubles County Championship winners of each of the six Munster Counties attended the Limerick UL sports arena on Sunday last to compete for the overall provincial crown and it proved to be another rewarding day for the Kerry contingent who took home two gold and three silver medals.
In the Division 3 mens doubles the Killarney pair of John O'brien and Wayne Doyle brought the gold medals home after some stirring encounters, while in the mens doubles Division 4 Moyvane's Donnacha Moloney and James Sheehan claimed gold.

The silver medals were won by the Moyvane/listowel combination of Sorcha Fitzgerald and Michelle Kearney in the ladies doubles at Division 4 and in the mixed doubles also in Division 4 the Tralee County Club pair of Ruth Concannon and Don Ring had to settle for silver after losing out on gold by just five points.
County Club also won silver in the Division 5 mens doubles and the silver winning pair here was Maurice O'shea and Tom Rice.
