BALLYBUNION'S JD Guiney will have plenty of time on his hands now that the Hooters Tour Winter Series has finished in Florida.
The rookie professional played in his final event last week and fired two one under par rounds of 71 to miss the cut by one shot.
Having made money in just two events from the eight in which he played,
he has not finished in the top thirty who gain exemptions and playing privileges for the Hooters Pro Series which begins this week, so he is hoping to get a number of sponsors invites in order to compete.
There are several oneday events taking place also in the coming months, in or around his Orland base and he will not be short of competitive action but of course the Hooters Tour events are the ones in which he needs to play in if he is to earn enough money to advance and play on the Nationwide Tour which is his ultimate ambition.
