THE 87th Annual convention of the North Kerry Hurling Board was held in Hartys Bar in Causeway on Thursday last, along with their invited guests from the Kerry County Committee, Eamon O'Sullivan and Gerard McCarthy.
Secretary Pat Dineen with a comprehensive report thanked each club for their continuing support in the development and promotion of hurling in North Kerry. Pat also congratulated both Pat Ryan and the Kerry Minors and Joe Walsh and the Under 21s in their All Ireland success.
In the secretary's report, the board ran 25 competitions from Under 10 to Senior and could not do so without the continuing support from their sponsor Lee Strand Co-op Creamery Tralee.
North Kerry Hurling Board Chairman Joe Walsh congratulated all of the winners in the 25 competitions that were run and that for them to be such a success, it took great committed support from the clubs, their players, along with all NKHB Officials and Referees for their contributions in that success. The Chairman also had a special thanks to all clubs for the use of their venues for the year past.
